What about those people who like being alone? The ones who enjoy solitude and choose to live away from the pack? They’re weird, that’s what. They’re a bit scary, too. Maybe they’re not one of us. Maybe they’re cheetahs in disguise. Maybe they will eat us when we’re not looking. So maybe we won’t get too close and be safer with our own kind. [And come to that, which big cats do all the hunting and killing? The females, that’s who. So a solitary female is either weak and wanting to latch on to another pack member, or she’s on the prowl. Either way – she’s bad news.]
So whether we’re lonely, or whether we like being alone, we’re dangerous. The pack will leave us well alone.
How do feel about people who live alone? Do loners make you nervous?
